Description

This is my witch. what I'll likely become. whole bio below.
Greif Seed design, Labyrinth design, and minions will be uploaded later.

Witches Name: Vito (Vito)
Nature: Rejected
Type: Scar Witch

Vito is the scar witch with a rejected nature. Her only goal is to take humans into her barrier to “save” them from the society that had rejected her for being different. She judges the people once they enter and kill them off if they are deemed to possess a discriminatory heart. Those who are deemed worthy of salvation become her minions and wander her labyrinth for all eternity.

I fight so other people don’t have to. I fight for everyone. So why is it that no matter what I do I can’t stop worlds from completely obliterating themselves because of discrimination? I have seen variations of Earth where WW II’s and Cold War’s melt into global nuclear incineration. I’ve seen Earths that have gone through 4 or more world wars. I can save some but… perhaps those were already never going to become destroyed and I haven’t really helped at all! Why is it that people have to have someone lower than them? Why do people always put someone else’s hope out just so they feel better about themselves? As far as I can tell from what I’ve seen of the good in people it’s not who your parents are, what gender, race, nationality, government system, or socio-economic status you are but what you do with this gift of life that determines the worth of a person… that determines who you are. And people just throw it away over and over… so… what the hell am I fighting for? I have been so naïve.

Symbolisms:

-Name: The name Vito has a few meanings. The first is that “veto” is a synonym for rejection. I changed the “e” to “i” so that it wasn’t too obvious. The other reason is that it is an actual name in Italian meaning life or a happy life which is ironic to my interactions with the society and the system in my past and the interaction of humans as a whole (discrimination factor). The name is also a boy’s name specifically which represents my resentment and hatred of my body’s problems and appearance caused by my PCOS. (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom)

-Holes in the torso: There are three holes in the torso. No more, no less. Each hole represents a “missing” / damaged organ within my body. The one on the side nearest the back is my appendix which had nearly killed me by rupturing just weeks before my 15th birthday and was removed. At this time I had actually accepted my death and was ready to go (as the anesthetics took me over). Next is the hole in the front on the skirt. This represents the Uterus and Ovaries which in this case are damaged and don’t work correctly (PCOS causes cysts to form on the ovaries which can lead to infertility). The third hole on her chest is my heart (and representation of the soul), which at the point of becoming a witch, was so torn and shattered that the pain of it was no longer bearable and was torn out by the witch. All holes go straight through the body but due to the flattish appearance of the witch is unnoticeable until you look at her from the front or back. Other holes are mostly just for artistic purpose but could be related to my belief that I’m not strong enough, more mentally than physically but that as well. The holes in general are a feeling of emptiness within me literally or metaphorically.

-Doubts appearance: the actual appearance of Vito comes from my depiction of the 8th forgotten sin Doubt. This character, Doubt, was actually a vision my sister had of her inner self that she had drawn and then I drew a final rendering of. It is still possible to see the twin tails that are my trademark hairstyle (aka its unusual so people know it’s me and it’s my actual hairstyle. Plus Doubts hairstyle sticks up all over the place in a lot of jagged sharp edges.) and the sleeves of my magical girl uniform which differentiates me from Doubt. (If my sisters ever give me the drawings they did of themselves and allow me to redraw them Izzy’s witch will be Doubt.)

-Black and White: Unlike Doubt, Vito is only black and white, no grey areas. This is a representation of the way she judges people and sees the world. Everything is black and white to her. There are no longer grey areas. She makes a decision and never thinks twice about it.

-Handless: This is cause by the abandonment of the desire to help people. She now controls everything with her mind. She will never hold out a help hand to anyone ever again.

Wow, this is a nice Witch. You did well with the art style that the Witches are always drawn in (which I am not so good at and still need to work on).

It would be awesome to see an epic Boss Fight of some other Maho Shoujos against her!
